THURSDAY, JULY 20TH, 2023 DEVOTIONAL. TOPIC: Anger is not to a Good End.  TEXT: Ephesians 4:26             _" And "don't sin by letting anger gain control over you." Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, (NLT)._ Moses of the Holy Book was always a good, a remarkable personality and a leader worthy of emulation but unfortunately, He lacked the ability to control his anger.  He was a perfect man, but his one flaw, which was anger, eventually ended his life. The Bible obviously and according to Ephesians 4:26 has not said we must not be angry, but we have to be able to gain control over our anger and ensure that we do not act unwisely, the end is of no good, it wasn't good for Moses, and it's not likely to be good for anyone because anything done out of anger may never be undone.  Dear brethren, let the Word of God be your guardian, cherish it and live your life every day in it, and it will shield you from acting out o...

THURSDAY, JULY 6th, 2023 DEVOTIONAL TOPIC:Man; the orchestrator of failed promises. TEXT: Numbers 23:19         _" God is not a man, that he should lie, neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it?  Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good? (KJV)._ Miracle, a young and devoted Christian who was passionate about working for God and the love of God for Him, God made His promises to prosper and uplift him mightily known to Him and was giving Him some instructions to follow. After a while of rightly and passionately walking in God's instructions, he began to feel weary towards the things of God, and to people around him, he was still a passionate and devoted Christian but deep down in him, he was not as hot as he used to be, instead of growing in communion and communication with God, he was stagnant for a long time and then began to deteriorate when he consciously didn't take cognizant of how his Christian ...

THE LIFE OF PRAYER Eph 6:11-12

Thursday, 16th of March 2023 devotion. TOPIC: The Life of Prayer.  TEXT: Ephesians 6:11-12          “ Put on, therefore, the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”           "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of the world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.(KJV).  The armor of a Christian is; The WORD of God and PRAYER. A Christian who lives without these two is like a soldier going to a battlefield without a weapon.  He who builds a life of prayer builds his wall against foes, evils, and attacks.  As believers, if we must live in this world of vanity and wickedness, if we would survive those in this world that the Bible has stated that we wrestle against, we must imbibe the culture of prayer. Prayer is the key to overcoming, and also a key to victory. A victorious Christ...

Thursday, 23rd of February 2023 devotion.  Topic: Greediness: robber of life.  Text: Proverbs 1: 18-19.   _"18 - But not these people! They set an ambush for themselves; they booby-trap their own lives! (NLT)._          _"19 - Such is the fate of all who are greedy for gain. It ends up robbing them of life. (NLT)._  Greediness isn't to be desired at all because the end of it is self-affliction, what one thinks would be gained would end up being less and nothing to be compared to the afflictions that one who indulges in it would end up with.  (2 kings 5:9–27) Gehazi, Elisha's servant, met with his Waterloo when he allowed greediness to take over him. His inability to control his greed finally robbed him of the ability to ever walk again.  As believers, diverse temptations will come our way, including greediness(a desire for what is not ours) we must endeavor not to succumb to the will of the flesh with the help of the Wor...
