IMPATIENCE END

Thursday, October 5th, 2023 Devotional.
Topic: Impatience end
Text: Exodus 32:1, 35.
"Exod 32:1 When Moses failed to come back down the mountain right away, the people went to Aaron. "Look," they said, "make us some gods who can lead us. This man Moses, who brought us here from Egypt, has disappeared. We don't know what has happened to him." (NLT)"

"Exod 32:35 And the LORD sent a great plague upon the people because they had worshiped the calf Aaron had made. (NLT)"

How many Christians today are not like the Israelites in the verses above?
In everything, you have to thread patiently. Patience can save you from a lot of trouble, mistakes, and shame. We all know that God is good, His nature is righteousness. A God of love that loves so genuinely.

When He orders our steps as His children and tells us what to do and what way to go, how many of us yield to Him, or how many of us don't end up seeking alternative means to get what we want and assuming He's incapable?

His plans are good for us, but if we allow impatience to breed fruit in us, we will end up reaping its reward.

Prayer:
Father Lord, we pray that You help us to love You and trust You to lead us aright, give us the spirit of patience, and help us to continually remain in You and for You, amen.
