Topic: The Promise Keeper
Text:Isaiah 43:1-6
Isa 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

James was in the midst of a dilemma with what seemed like no way out. He lost his job. His children were sent out of school because they were owing school fees. His expensive laptop where he kept his work files was stolen. His house roof was leaking, which will cost a large sum to repair. His car broke down, which will also cost a lot to repair. Worst of it all, his wife was in the hospital, not responding to treatment.

Amidst everything, James was still calm, fearless, and thankful. James remembered God's promises for his life.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Isa43:2

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jer 29:11

He then turned his greatest worry to prayer. A few days later, his wife became healed, Good luck to him, his wife had extra funds she saved for rainy days. She also saved all his work files on cloud, which only her remembered the password, this made her retrieve the document.

God keeps his promises and does not fail his children. We need to walk in God's instruction at all times to enjoy his sufficient promises in our lives.

Ponder: What is that situation you are going through that seems like; no way out?

Tell it to Jesus Today!
Prayer/confession: Lord over every Principality and power for you are a promise keeper, and I am your true child, thank you, for keeping your promises over my life.
