THE TIME TO RESET IS NOW......The life I live in the body

Tuesday 4th April 2023 Devotional
Topic:The time to reset is now
Text:Gal 2:20
Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Tola has accepted Christ, given her life to him, and even rededicated her life to him, she is not a struggling Christian, but she finds herself in sin. Every time she takes a bold step not to sin again because she fully understands the danger, she keeps finding herself in it due to the type of company she keeps and other factors.

The time of reset is now, many at times you might have affirmed or adhered to the instruction of a Holy Spirit not to fall into a trap, but you find yourself in it, not because you are weak but because the burden is more than you, you need help.

This is not the time to be sober. But the time to reset, reset your past and start afresh, keep the word of God abreast
''your word have I hid in my heart that I may not sin against thee'' Psalm 119:11

Gal 2:20 gives us a description of our identity in Christ. If we choose to be with Christ , we should be dead to every work of the flesh.

Our baptismal pastor, replied to a question asked during the meeting by quoting another pastor "If you are truly born again, you won't commit the same sin over and over again'' that is; when you are truly born again, no one needs to tell you, before you realize what you are about to do is a Sin, even when you commit sin you won't be found in it over and over again. The consequence of sin is death, and the pride for we as believers is that we won't perish because we believe and follow his commandment.

Today is not too late for you to reset, delete your old ways and commit your ways to God. Always remember you are Christ Identity. Affirm Gal 2:20 to yourself.

Prayer: Lord I thank you for sending your words to me, may your name alone be glorified🙏🏿
