TARRY IN HIS PRESENCE...God is ready to attend to your cries

Thursday, 6th of April 2023 devotion. 

Topic: Tarry At His Presence! 

Text: Exodus 24:12, 15-16

         12." And the Lord said unto Moses, come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give three tables of stone, and a law and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest tech them.

 15." And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount. 

          16."And the glory of the Lord abode upon Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and on the seventh day He called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

Enoch Adeboye is a Nigerian renowned man of God whose growing up as a child wasn't such a blissful one. He has always seen the presence of God, but could not get a grip of the essence of that and what purpose he should fulfil. 

Life threw its challenges at him, and he sought for help everywhere possible, but all to no avail. 

Luckily enough, he was lucky to be introduced to God, then after he was, he began to tarry at the presence of God day and night, his big problems like a mountain beyond claiming turned to sand immediately, he started to feel more of God's presence and God's purpose for his life was revealed.

This is what happens when we tarry at the presence of God, even Moses after being called by God Himself, he (Moses) still had to wait for six days before God finally attended to him. 

God is ready to attend to our cries and use us for His glory, but for all of these to be possible, we have to be ready to tarry in His presence through daily prayers and study of His Word. 

Prayer:

Our Father who hath in heaven, we pray that you help us to tarry more, much longer in your presence, so has for us to know you more, to know the purpose of which you have created us and all that you want for us. Amen.
