WISDOM SOUGHT AFTER..PROV 8:11

THURSDAY, 23RD MARCH 2023 DEVOTION. 
TOPIC: WISDOM SOUGHT AFTER. 
TEXT: Proverbs 8:11
            "For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it."

Wisdom is as powerful as anything, an essential attribute in anyone wwho is in Christ, as it is what guides the lifestyle that one lives, it guides all the steps that one will take in life. Anyone without it, is automatically void of direction. It's a light that shines in darkness and paves way for direction as to which path to go.

Now, what wisdom is being sought after and which should actually be sought after? 
Many in the world have forsaken the wisdom that ought to be sought after and now chasing worldly wisdom that cannot pave way for direction and the fulfillment of God's purpose for their lives. 

The worth of the wisdom of God is incomparable to anything and must be greatly desired. As believers, nothing should be done of the flesh, no step should be taken by one's wisdom.  

Worldly wisdom perishes and doesn't get anyone to anywhere, but the wisdom of God can. And as we journey in our Christian lives, we must learn to allow the wisdom of God to rule our lives.

Prayer:
Father Lord, we pray that you help us not to be too taken in with worldly wisdom, despising the true wisdom. Help us to seek your wisdom in all we do and not rely on our understanding. So help is Lord, Amen.
