WHOM DO YOU FEAR? The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?
TOPIC: Whom do you fear?
TEXT: Prov 1:7
Pro 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
Nathan was a good preacher of Christ, he preaches end-time gospel. The people in the neighborhood were unpleased about this, so they tormented him. Seeing he still stood his ground, they arrested him and asked him to denounce Christ, he refused, and after so much torture he made a statement.
'' if I deny the maker, mightier than you all, then who will be my refuge and my fortress, the one fighting my battle even when you all tormented me, I will never forsake him.
Immediately he uttered this statement, they were stunned, even when they had tortured him, he still had the boldness to proclaim Christ. At that moment they were curious to know more, so they listened to what he had to say, from that moment onward he was treated very nicely and the neighborhood dedicated their life to Christ and invited more people to Christ.
Whom do you fear?
Just like Daniel and his friends in the bible did not deny their faith for the earthly god, they stood their ground and God came through for them. (Dan 3)
So as Christians, who do we fear?
Some fears might not be in human form but might be in earthly things, even God has assured us. (Matt7:8.)
Prayer: Lord, help me to be a good ambassador of the gospel and instill your fear in me🙏🏿
